Some events you style. Others you are honored to stand inside. The Australian Pride in Sport Awards with Acon was firmly the latter: a high octane night celebrating LGBTQ inclusion in sport and honouring the legends changing the game for good. To be part of something this monumental was special in a way no brief could ever capture, so we made sure the energy in that room was electric from start to finish.

The setting was Centrepiece Melbourne Park, and that massive rainbow backdrop made a statement before anyone even stepped onto the floor. Bold, proud, and completely unmissable, it set the standard for the entire night. We took the darkened space and transformed it into a full sensory universe, laying down sleek black linens to create a dramatic base for the main event.

Our signature starry night centerpieces soared above every table, suspending glowing clusters of tiny lights like constellations brought down to light up the party. As the house lights dropped, the room shifted into pure magic. Warm glows bounced off the glassware while intense waves of neon purple and pink washed across the walls, turning the floor into an absolute scene.

Every single table became its own glowing constellation of people celebrating how far sport has come and how much higher we are taking it. The room was humming with pride, edge, and undeniable momentum, proving that when purpose meets world class design, the vibe is unmatched.

Then Emily Williams took the stage, commanded the room, and set the entire night on fire. Draped in a shimmering silver dress with a microphone in hand, her powerhouse vocals tore through every corner of that space. Guests were on their feet, glasses stayed full, and the pure, unfiltered joy was the kind of energy you cannot stage, you can only witness it.

We do not play quiet on nights like this. Decor that makes a statement, lighting that commands respect, and a cause that means more than any design element ever could. Acon brought the vision, the room brought the glow, and we were proud to bring the energy to a night that truly ran the world.
