Some hens nights are a dinner. Alex’s was a premiere. The bridesmaids threw him a surprise hens at L’Hotel Gitan, following on from a Met Gala inspired engagement celebration, and they asked us to bring the fashion and the florals. Challenge accepted, and then some.

The moment guests walked in, the room said everything before anyone could speak. Hot pink florals climbing the backdrop, rich pink and purple uplighting washing the walls, and a custom step and repeat photo wall waiting by the door like a red carpet in waiting. When Alex walked in and saw it all, the surprise did exactly what surprises should do: stopped the room.

That photo moment was the heart of the night. A custom insta wall with an arch of blush and magenta blooms, made for group shots, couple shots and absolutely iconic solo moments. The girls brought their pink outfits, the bride to be brought the sparkle, and between the flower arrangements and the lighting, every single frame came out editorial. Not a bad angle in the building.

Because a hens night is really a love story with a dress code. Alex’s crew came dressed in their pink finest, the party pulsed under that fuchsia glow, and the florals kept the romance threaded through every corner of the room. Playful, glamorous and just the right amount of outrageous, exactly how a send off into married life should feel.
