THE TEAM
EY asked for The Greatest Show and we said say less. Seventy tables under the glittering chandeliers of Crown Palladium, each one a little circus of its own. Black sequin linens gave us that big top glamour, dark and dazzling, the perfect stage for what came next. The centerpieces were where the fun went feral. Juggling balls clustered together into bold, playful sculptures in circus reds, oranges and yellows, ribbons tumbling down like confetti caught mid fall.
Alongside them, glowing gold wildflower centerpieces reached high above the tables, and gold ring candle holders flickered low. A mix of colour, candlelight and craft that kept every table different and every eye moving.Out in the foyer, the show started before dinner did. A gold sequin curtain framed our Hoopla ring toss, clown heads waited to be fed, and funny mirrors had guests doubled over laughing before they even found their seats.
Vintage sideshow posters, strongmen, fire breathers and clowns, lined the walls while lush florals in sunset shades and lanterns glowing with candles set the welcome tone. And then, the main stage. Grand did not even cover it. Red velvet draping framed hand painted circus panels, giant flame flourishes flanked the band, and the whole set glowed under washes of red and blue light like a big top come to life.
When the entertainment hit that stage, the room roared back. This is what big decor energy looks like. A gala with a wink, an awards night with a heart beat, a room that takes itself seriously about fun and not much else. EY brought the people, we brought the show, and Crown Palladium never saw anything quite like it.
