THE FEELS
Inspired by the quiet drama of a candlelit forest at midnight, where nature gets moody and the wine does the talking.
THE TEAM
On Thursday 3rd June 2022, The Fourth Wave Wines brought their diverse collection of styles and varietals to Aunty Kim’s in Collingwood for a product launch with a difference. No bright lights, no loud branding. Instead, a beautiful, dark and moody immersion into Nature’s Alchemy, where the wine poured and the room cast its own spell.
Aunty Kim’s was the perfect conspirator. An interior of textured concrete, moody drapes and chandeliers glowing low gave us a canvas that already whispered. Our job was to lean in: layers of lush greenery spilling from every corner, ferns and foliage tumbling over bars, shelves and entryways until the room felt less styled and more grown. Like the building itself had been reclaimed by nature, candle by candle.
And the candles. Twinkling pillars and tapers everywhere you looked, clustered on timber discs and wine barrels, lining the long banquet table and flickering against that raw concrete backdrop. Warm amber light pooled across the room and made every glass of wine glow like it had its own spotlight. Moody, intimate and unmistakably alive.
The touch points were all texture. Rough timber against soft moss, structured greenery against trailing vines, ornate mirrors reflecting the glow back on itself. Even the florals stayed wild and earthy, all texture and tone rather than polished petals. Every detail was drawn from the ingredients of nature, because when the brief is alchemy, everything on the table should look like it came from the earth.
Because that’s what a product launch should do: not just show the wine, but build the world it belongs to. Fourth Wave’s portfolio is about character and craft, so we gave it a room with both. Aunty Kim’s brought the grit, we brought the greenery and the glow, and together they turned a Thursday night in Collingwood into pure, moody magic.
