THE FEELS
Think theatre of a fish market, the buzz of a Mexican street, and the quiet luxury of caviar and champagne.
THE TEAM
When Metropolis Events approached us to style their food stations, the brief was simple: make every single one feel intentional, not incidental. Working alongside Decor It Studio, we concepted five completely distinct experiences, each one designed from the food outward, not the other way around.
Caviar & Champagne set the tone with quiet luxury, refined serving wear, considered blooms and a bar built to feel like a moment rather than a menu item. This wasn’t a garnish on the evening. It was the opening statement.
Chips and Chips and What You Taco’n About brought the energy up. The Mexican station leaned bright and bold, styled to feel like the streets of Mexico, vibrant vases, punchy colour, a station built to be as fun as the food itself.
The Seafood Station went full theatre, styled to feel like stepping into a luxurious fish market, ice, texture and fresh catch presented with the same drama you’d expect from the finest market stalls, not a standard buffet line.
Charcuterie rounded it out with texture and abundance, carefully curated boards, styling that let every cut, cheese and garnish do the talking.
Every station carried custom signage, purpose-built to become part of the guest experience the moment a client selects that cart for their event, proof that great styling doesn’t just decorate food, it tells its story. What we built for Metropolis Events wasn’t catering with a nice backdrop. It was five fully realised worlds, styled from the plate up.
