Listen up, because when we step into a room, we don’t just decorate it—we command it. The Plaza Ballroom has held some serious history, but when Nelson Alexander walked in for their EOFY Gala Dinner, we elevated the entire atmosphere. We reimagined that iconic hall into Verona after dark: an unapologetic, high-edge, Romeo and Juliet masquerade that hit with absolute power and pure, magnetic obsession.

We went all-in on a deep, fearless palette of rich burgundy, crimson, and wine tones that saturated the space from wall to wall. We layered lush, velvety arrangements of deep red roses so rich they looked poured straight into place. Every single table became a masterpiece of texture and intensity—an undeniable declaration of romance, executed with razor-sharp precision and flawless intention.

Then came the details that elevated the design to legendary status. Striking silk ribbons entwined through towering iron candelabras, while flickering flames cut through a moody, smouldering glow like embers under a Venetian sky. It was warm, intimate, and electrifying—the exact kind of lighting that brings out maximum star power in every guest who walks through the door.

This is masquerade done the BIG DÉCOR ENERGY way. Forget standard event styling on a mood board; we built a living, breathing theatrical world you could physically feel. Guests didn’t just attend a dinner; they crossed the threshold into a cinematic Verona where masks were raised, energy ran sky-high, and nobody wanted the curtain to fall.

To the Nelson Alexander team: thank you for trusting us to turn your End of Financial Year into an absolute masterclass in drama and design. You brought the energy, we delivered the vision, and the Plaza Ballroom held the night like it was custom-built for this exact moment. A masterpiece of romance, passion, and uncompromising style.

If your next event demands this level of fearlessness, perfection, and cultural impact—we are ready when you are.
