THE FEELS
They Came for a Party. They Witnessed a WEDDING. Inspired by love at full volume.
THE TEAM
Guests arrived to a custom magenta welcome sign, “Bec and Simon, 29th of June” in blush script, with “we’re so glad you’re here” arched around the top, sitting pretty on a mirrored gold bar cart with candles, an Instax and a guestbook already waiting. What they thought was just a chic party welcome was actually the calm before the most beautiful ambush in Melbourne.
The ceremony moment was built for drama: matte crimson plinths of varying heights, crowned with lush arrangements of red, hot pink and cream roses, purple phalaenopsis orchids, anthurium and chrysanthemum, and amaranthus cascading down like ribbons of fire against the charcoal panel walls. Pillar candles in glass hurricanes flickered at the base of every plinth, because romance deserves good lighting.
And then Bec WALKED IN. Short white dress, long sleeves of sparkle, a tulle train, blue sparkle heels and a bouquet of reds and pinks that matched the room shot for shot, on her father’s arm, with every single guest realising at once that this was not that kind of party. The florals framed her entrance like they’d rehearsed it. (They had. We just didn’t tell you.)
Over at the bar, the same palette ran riot, gold-edged bar fronts overflowing with coral, fuchsia and blush blooms spilling right over the edge, champagne flutes lined up and ready. Every corner of Alto carried the story, so the moment the surprise landed, the whole room was already in on the romance.
Bec and Simon, you pulled off the twist of the season, and the room rose to meet you. Love that keeps a secret that good deserves styling that shouts.
