THE FEELS
Inspired by monochrome romance at its most cinematic, where white is not a colour but a feeling.
THE TEAM
Some weddings decorate a venue. Xiaoming and Kendell’s wedding became part of it. Campbell Point House is already a grand old beauty, all French provincial stone and gardens looking out over the water, and we dressed it almost entirely in white, cream and soft green, with touches of black to keep every frame sharp.
The ceremony was the moment everything stopped. A white floral arch stood at the water’s edge, chairs lined up on the lawn, and two grooms met under blooms so full they looked carved from clouds. The lake sparkled behind them, the chateau rose behind the guests, and nobody’s eyes stayed dry.
Inside, the white kept climbing. Clouds of baby’s breath and soft white flowers spilled down the grand staircase, framed the tall windows and gathered around the fireplaces like snow that decided to stay. In the ceremony room, white florals wrapped every arch and aisle, soft and dreamy against all that stone.
The reception tables carried the story on. Crisp white linen, delicate glassware and low clouds of cream blooms running down the centre, with small black touches throughout so the softness never lost its edge. Even the cake played along: white tiers with sculptural flower detailing, standing quietly by the window light.
Because that’s what a wedding should be: not a theme, but a world for the love story to live in. Xiaoming and Kendell brought the romance and the nerve to go almost all white, Campbell Point House brought the grandeur, and we brought the clouds. Congratulations, darlings. You looked like the sky coming home.
