Solution Entertainment brought the UKG and Kronos Healthcare Summit to the Plaza Ballroom and threw it straight back a century. The brief? Gatsby. Full roaring 20s, art deco glamour, and not a single detail done quietly. And with the Plaza Ballroom as the stage, with its gilded columns, vintage chandeliers and old-world bones, it was a match made in west egg.

The room was washed in the most gorgeous violet and blue uplighting, turning that gilded architecture into something out of a fevered, beautiful dream. Rich blue drapes pooled behind the stage, crystal chandeliers sparkled overhead, and everywhere you looked the colour story sang: deep midnight blues, shimmering purples and warm gold catching every light in the room.

The tables were pure deco drama. Black and gold linens dressed with bold floral centrepieces of orchids and blooms in cream and blush, topped with candelabra glow and glassware gleam. Scattered candles and tealights turned every table into its own little speakeasy, intimate and glowing, while the ballroom’s ornate detailing did what it does best: steal scenes quietly in the background.

And then the entertainment took over, because this is Solution Entertainment we’re talking about. Dancers in sharp suits and fedoras filled the dance floor, their moves straight out of the charleston and straight into the present. Burlesque touches, live performances and a crowd of healthcare summit guests who absolutely rose to the occasion. Somewhere between the first glass of champagne and the last chorus, 1923 and 2023 became the same night.

Because that’s the trick with a themed event: the styling can’t just reference the era, it has to make you live in it. Solution Entertainment brought the talent and the vision, the Plaza Ballroom brought the decadence, and we brought the art deco drama to tie it all together. Old sport, the party’s still going. We never closed the door on it.
